Secondwind — Privacy Policy

Secondwind is made by PNW Solutions, a trade name of PNW Sound Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the Secondwind iPhone app does with your information. The short version: it collects anonymous usage figures so the app can be improved, it never collects anything you type, and you can switch it off inside the app.

What we collect

Secondwind has no accounts and no sign-in, and we never ask you for personal information. What it does send is anonymous usage data, so we can improve the app based on how it is actually used rather than on guesswork:

• which timers you run, how many steps they have, and how long they last
• which features you use — skins, sounds, spoken cues, the end-by, reordering, saved lists
• how many saved lists and timers you keep
• the hour of the day and day of the week you use the app
• how long the app is open, and how often you come back
• your device model, iOS version, and the app's version
• when the app's audio fails — a kind of fault that is otherwise invisible to us and almost never gets reported

We never collect anything you type. The names you give your lists and timers stay on your device and are never sent. Nothing we collect is tied to your name, your email, or your Apple account, and none of it is used to track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

You can turn it off. Open the app, tap the question mark at the top right, and choose Analytics. The screen there lists exactly what is sent and has a switch to stop it. Turning it off takes effect immediately, and the app works exactly the same either way.

What the app stores on your device

Secondwind saves your own settings and activity locally on your iPhone so the app works the way you left it. That includes:

• your timers and saved lists
• how many times you have completed each list
• achievements you have earned
• your chosen skin, sounds, completion sound and voice settings

This stays in the app's own private storage on your device. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. It is covered by your device's own security, and by your iCloud or computer backups if you have those switched on — those are Apple's services and ours, and are governed by Apple's privacy policy rather than this one.

Who we share information with

The usage data described above is processed for us by TelemetryDeck, an analytics service built for privacy: it does not build advertising profiles and does not share data with brokers. They are the only third party involved.

We use no advertising networks, and there is no tracking of you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your information to anyone.

Keeping and deleting your information

Because everything lives on your device, you are in full control of it. Deleting Secondwind from your iPhone permanently removes everything the app has stored, including your lists, run counts and achievements. There is no copy on a server for us to hold or delete, and nothing survives the app's removal.

The usage data we collect is anonymous and is not linked to you, so there is no account for us to look up and nothing we could identify as yours in order to return or delete it. Children

Secondwind is suitable for all ages. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children, and the anonymous usage figures described above are never linked to a person.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top before that version of the app is released.
